J. Clayton Miller CHAIRMAN Clay Miller has devoted his entire career to the security industry. Clay spent many hours as a child working with his father, Harry C. Miller, who was then Chairman of Sargent & Greenleaf. Clay’s keen insight into security technologies grew through his years at S&G where he eventually became president in 1976. Clay left to purchase Lockmasters, a company his father had help found in 1955. He has conceived and developed a multitude of security devices including the X-07 lock currently licensed to Mas-Hamilton and holds in excess of 20 patents. His involvement in the formation of the Safe and Vault Technicians Association is most notable.

Deanna DeBorde ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION As the Assistant Director, Deanna plays a critical role in monitoring and coordinating LSI programs. Her role also includes assisting with the development of the course schedules and maintaining the education facility. Deanna has a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master's degree in Education from East Tennessee University.

Ryan Griffeth Materials Coordinator Ryan has been with LSI since 2004. He currently manages the purchasing, the Company Store, and is responsible for GSA label sales. Ryan has a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Biology and is finishing his M.A. degree in Ministerial Studies with a concentration in leadership. Ryan also works closely with the LSI teaching staff to put together the course manuals.

Barbara Craycraft EDUCATION ASSISTANT Barbara has many years of experience in the security industry and continues to be a vital part of LSI. She handles everything from inquiries to enrollment to student mailings. She also provides general support to LSI students. Additionally , she is the resident expert on the Harry C. Miller Lock Collection and provides guided tours and information.
